I am a professional drummer based in Gurgaon, India. I started learning when I was 8; having learnt from teachers from different parts of the world, I have developed a wide skillset in terms of genres and styles. Searching for my style, I stumbled upon jazz fusion - it's been fun exploring this vast genre.
I like listening to music of the likes of Gogo Penguin, Avishai Cohen, and Tigran Hamasyan; my main influences in drumming are Dave Weckl and Larnell Lewis.
I believe that technology should be a supplement to and not a replacement of musicians. Good music is synonymous with good instrumentalists. I also feel that there are many things that we can learn from our past, in terms of how music was produced and how the music industry functioned.
Professional drummer with 8 years of education and 6 years of experience. Versatility in genre capabilities.
My teachers included Mr. Shreenath, a session musician from India, and Mr. Eduardo, a professional percussionist from Argentina.
Currently learning from Mr. Ranajoy Das, an alumnus of Berklee College of Music, Boston, and a well reputed session musician.
Studying in high school and active in all western-music related events.
Part of the school band for 6 years. Performed for various in-house events and functions.
